Field Trips

Hockerton Wind Turbine

We had the pleasure of visiting Hockerton Wind Turbine located in Hockerton, Southwell. I was surprised to know that this wind turbine alone meets the energy demand for the whole area and provides the energy at a cheap price. We also learned about the different parameters and challenges of setting up a wind turbine near residential areas.

Low Spinney Wind Farm

I am happy to share about our trip to Low Spinney Wind Farm in Lutterworth where we learned about its operation and maintenance protocols. The wind farm comprised four turbines set up at different places around the area.
